The Workshop for Young Researchers on comparative social security and social protection research
One of the key goals of the EISS is the development and/or cooperation
in several training and educational initiatives in the field of social
security and social protection.
The Workshop for Young Researchers is the longest running training programme of our Institute.
This workshop is organised every two years in cooperation with one of
our national sections or with a social security institution from the host
country.
The programme is intended to give young researchers (researchers with
at least one year research experience) a forum to discuss their research
topic and methodology with fellow researchers and renowned professors
in the field of social security and social protection. Both the participants and teaching staff have different national and disciplinary backgrounds. At the same time young researchers can get acquainted
with methodological issues related to comparing social security systems
of various countries.
Due to the limited number of applications for the Workshop for Young Researchers 2010, the Workshop will not take place in 2010 and is post-poned to a later date. |
