EISS membership


Every person interested in social security can join the European Institute of Social Security by filling in the application form. You will receive a formal letter welcoming you to the Institute and inviting you to pay the membership fee.


Our members

  • join an international network of social security experts with different professional backgrounds;
  • are informed on the initiatives, conferences and training programmes organised by the EISS;
  • can inform the other members of the EISS on their own initiatives and publications relevant for the network by sending an email to the EISS secretariat;
  • might be contacted by the EISS secretariat to join a research project
  • get a discount to all the seminars, workshops, conferences and other initiatives taken by the EISS;
  • enjoy a 15% discount to the European Journal of Social Security edited by Frans Penning and Michael Adler and published by Intersentia

Membership status and fee

  • individual members: 45,00 euro (per year)
  • institutional members : 400,00 euro (per year)
    (institutions, organizations or ministries can choose to become an institutional member which has the advantage that you can send up to 3 representatives to the seminars and conferences at a reduced price; these 3 persons can also vary from event to event):
